Dressing composed of a highly absorbent polyurethane foam layer that guarantees controlled absorption of exudate, an external breathable polyurethane film that prevents maceration of the perilesional area and a perforated polyurethane film that does not adhere to the wound, allowing painless and trauma-free removal
The dressing conforms perfectly to the wound bed, promoting the ideal environment for the healing process. The high absorbency of the PU foam dressing allows for a reduction in the number of changes, ensuring patient comfort and a reduction in wound management costs.
The particular “flat edge” structure facilitates the application of a secondary fixing dressing (tape plaster, polyurethane film – Euroderm or Euroderm roll – or cohesive bandage) and guarantees additional protection from fluid leakage. In the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinous lesions, it is recommended to use it in combination with Hydromed gel
The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of change depends on the type of lesion, the amount of exudate and the clinical conditions
Euroderm foam is latex free. Indications: Pressure ulcers from stage 1 to 4, post-operative wounds, vascular lesions, 1st and 2nd degree burns
